Language mentoring

Asynchronous learning, where you receive homeworks from a tutor and complete them at your own pace at a time that suits you.

The course in total consists of 5 on-line live sessions and 16 assignments for independent work.

Lesson 1: introduction, setting expectations for the next 4 assignments
Lesson 2-5: independent work, feedback from the tutor
Lesson 6: summarizing review of homework, updating parameters for next 4
meetings
Lesson 7-10: independent work, feedback from the tutor
Lesson 11: summarizing review of home preparation, updating parameters for the next 4
meetings
Lessons 12-15: independent work, feedback from the tutor
Lesson 16: summarizing repetition of home preparation, updating parameters for the next 4 meetings
Lesson 17-20: independent work, feedback from the tutor
Lesson 21: final review of home preparation, closing of the course

Independent work will be based on individually selected and assigned materials. After
you hand in the materials to your tutor, you will receive feedback on them.

All materials will be provided to available in one of the following repositories: Google Drive folder, MS Teams, Google Slides, Google Classroom etc.

Ordering process for CZ:

• In Tietoevry shop in section “Training” select James Cook Languages. Choose the course.
• You will need Competence Development project number. (provided by your manager)
• PO gets approved and language school gets an information about your binding order.
• Whole process can take some time so don´t postpone the order. In case of any issue, please contact our Procurement.
